Hey now! Every couple weeks I will be posting some old advertisements from some of my favorite skate mags. Most of the ads will be from the 80’s and early 90’s, with some current stuff as well as some REALLY OLD SHIT. I will also be posting some old scanned photos from the mags, interviews and whatever else catches my eye. The ads in this post are all from 1988…

This was before Lucero named his company Black Label. You can see he already had the elephant logo, thumb head, cross and peace sign graphics. I have always been a fan of Lucero’s skating and artwork, he has a really cool style.

One of my favorite skaters, Jeff Grosso egging out at Turf Skatepark in Wisconsin.
Eric Nash blasting a nice Indy air…one of my favorite looking airs because the skater looks like he’s floating upside down.

I can’t think of anything to say about this pic….I suck at this writing shit!
Look at all the different shapes on that wall!
King of the demo….Steve Schneer
Jinx with a gnarly tail block in an even gnarlier looking pool. He stuck that right on the corner too…Sick!
